@ducky there are compatibility bridges like XWayland, though we don't know how well they work
-F

@NovaSquirrel wait, cyberchase is still running? or did it reboot?
-F

@MindmeshLink understandable, stuff getting all over stuff is pretty stressful

re: technically a subpost, but like, more just bc it got me thinking

@MindmeshLink @packbat it originated in the MUCK scene i believe, where it was indeed short for hypertrophy
-F

@heatherhorns_lite fredrika needs a custom-built containment system before you should even allow her near a computer that's *not* networked
-F

@gardevoir you can get pcsx2 to render at *much* higher resolutions

re: windows 11 complaining after 10 mins of using it

@lioness @Dex huh. we used windows 8 for a little while and don't remember that

but we had all sorts of stuff to put things back like windows 7 so maybe that's why

re: windows 11 complaining after 10 mins of using it

@Dex what does "hot corners" mean in this context?
-F

@delcan hi! going to accept your follow request, but just so you know we're more active on @Hearth

@lioness (the main conflict here being between the god and the wizard, who doesn't want to be stuck in an abusive relationship with a god)
-F

@lioness we've seen it done well, *occasionally*

one that comes to mind is a book series where it turns out that the overpowered wizard is overpowered specifically because he's unknowingly the chosen of a god in the process of having a stress-induced mental breakdown, who gets increasingly possessive and protective of him in unhealthy ways as the series goes on
-F

@solarmerps That didn't work because awoo doesn't have that instance on the allow list, so we'll follow from our other account
-F

@tailsteak Kind of like Tradewinds with more fantasy elements?
-F

@MindmeshLink bonus points if it's actually part of a wine environment so it actually does system32 stuff

re: "processed food", racism, antifatness

@xenon also any ingredient you can actually pronounce can be replaced with the exact same ingredient but called something you can't pronounce

we've seen people get up in arms over seeing things like "sodium bicarbonate" on a label when

that's literally baking soda.

@shnorbles@chitter.xyz yeah that was one of the advantages of the switch over to webextensions a while back, it's a standard framework that makes it easy to port desktop extensions to work on mobile (or to work on other browsers that use webextensions, like google chrome--except of course chrome hates adblockers now)
