@packbat i have no idea! we have not been exposed to the dice-making subculture before really beyond knowing it exists
-F

this youtube recommendation feels like something from another universe

why would you make dice with ramen noodles in them

*why* would that be highly requested
-F

today we learned: photographic film is not vegetarian
-F

@hi_cial i mean it's a well known phenomenon that someone who makes a thing sees a lot more wrong with it than someone who merely appreciates the thing!

I'm sure you have room to improve but this looks really good from where we're standing
-F

oh neat, apparently intel's new processors have heterogenous cores, with some geared for efficiency and others for computing power

i could swear that's not the first time we've heard of a setup like that... was it some powerpc processors that did that previously? or was it something else?

re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@terrana Thank you, I don't think we're in a position that we can do the first one of those but maybe the others will help next time this happens

re: pulling from a thing from our past re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@monsterblue @packbat but, we'd never really thought of it as RSD before despite knowing what RSD is, it just never occurred to us

maybe that's what we should be asking for help with then
-F

re: pulling from a thing from our past re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@monsterblue @packbat we don't even know any of the people in question anymore
-F

re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@monsterblue mindfulness is something that's always kind of felt wrong to us, it feels likely to exacerbate our OCD and dysphoria and stuff, so we've always kind of shied away from trying it
-F

re: pulling from a thing from our past re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@packbat which i think makes it worse; if we did something bad, we can apologize for it and have some closure that way, but you can't really apologize for an embarrassing thing
-F

re: pulling from a thing from our past re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@packbat for us, most of the things we get stuck on are things that were more *embarrassing* than actually bad

if we have done anything actually bad, we don't remember it, but given that we remember very strongly even minorly embarrassing things i think we maybe would?
-F

re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@packbat mm... in our case this is like... remembering and fixating on memory of things from decades ago--seemingly the only things we can remember from that long ago at all
-F

re: mh - (not now), asking for help

@lioness that's kind of what we try to do already, but it feels like not a healthy coping mechanism?
-F

@g zey (is?/are?) very cute and i like zem
-F

mh - (not now), asking for help

can anyone help us know what to do when like... you get in that thought pattern where you just can't stop thinking about every mistake you've ever made and feeling terrible for it?
