why are there so few rpgs on the gamecube and n64

the wii didn't have a lot either but it feels like it had at least a few dozen, pretty sure the gcn and n64 had less than ten each. maybe less than ten combined
-F

@sharkNserg konami logos should be on arcade cabinets not slot machines

it's so weird to us to go to the pharmacy and see omron-branded medical equipment

apparently that's their main business but we know them for making really good electromechanical relays, they're like the #1 or #2 brand of those along with TE
-F

@moonbolt would have been able to tell you more close to when all the stuff happened but our memory is bad and they're filed away in our mind as "do not attempt to remember details"
-F

@moonbolt we don't know the details but when the founder was in the postfurry discord we got a bad feeling about them, and they ended up banned from there for other stuff we don't know the details of, iwrc it happened in private (but the postfurry discord mods are extremely trustworthy in our experience, they know what they're doing and we trust their judgment)

there's also been other stuff that happened on here too but we didn't see that, just people talking about it
-F

@moonbolt the people behind that company are Pretty Sketchy, just so you know

the Hearth :ms_agender_flag: boosted

Everything is a UFO if you're really bad at identifying things but really good at throwing them.

considering that the original reason given for vampires not having a reflection and not showing up in photographs was because of the use of silver for mirrors and photographic film at the time, i imagine modern vampires would have reflections (mirrors these days are made with aluminum as a backing, as it's substantially cheaper and doesn't tarnish) and would show up in photographs (image sensors contain a negligible amount of silver)

@heatherhorns maybe because he goes go-karting with everyone on the weekends and is perfectly genial to them all
-F

@heatherhorns i think it's for robots? i don't know it's never made particularly clear
-F

@heatherhorns in sonic adventure he actually launches what appears to be an actual warhead at station square and it's only sheer luck that it turned out to be a dud

i am not joking, that's how the story goes
-F

@heatherhorns his whole deal appears to be that he wants to build a theme park, but he keeps choosing locations that are already occupied and instead of just moving to somewhere else he decides the way to go is to blow up the place and build on the ruins
-F

re: gotta go fast

@heatherhorns he says it in the anime, i know that
-F

@heatherhorns i just want a zelda game that mixes up the roles a bit

have a link be the evil one, with a zelda as the player character and a ganon as the the one you're trying to rescue or something
-F

@heatherhorns there have been other incarnations of demise's curse (vaati is confirmed to have been iwrc and it's likely that malladus also was--bellum was probably not, though) but i think just the one ganondorf, who has been killed for good in the endings to Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, and the original Legend of Zelda

it's unclear what exactly the ganon you fight in botw is
-F

@heatherhorns when we were little we thought that calling him ganondork was the best burn ever
-F

@heatherhorns how many times has he actually been reincarnated though? not all that many, he keeps getting sealed in places without time and/or is just immortal because of the triforce of power
-F

@sharkNserg ahh, then yeah that's Not Good

i'm glad he didn't destroy the company, because capcom makes good stuff
