Apparently, pokemon violet is sufficiently laggier than pokemon scarlet that the speedrun is currently done on scarlet, even though in the absence of lag, the route for violet would be a few minutes faster

the speedrunning community doesn't actually know *why* violet is laggier, especially because Koraidon's model is the more complex and lag-prone of the bikemon

so even if there was anything noxious in it now, there won't be after you use the oven two or three more times

birds are weirdly sensitive though, to the point that people with pet birds are encouraged not to use teflon cookware

@trysdyn @socks the trouble with burnout is that when you feel recovered from it, it doesn't mean you can go right back to doing all the stuff you were doing before. You may feel fine, but you're still like 90% of the way to burnout and it can be hard to even realize what's pushing you

sometimes we wish it was socially acceptable to just stop doing anything at all other than relaxing for a few months, because that would sure make things a lot easier to deal with
