there's actually a famous case of a word changing due to this, where people saying "my nuncle" was heard as "mine uncle" and changed the word nuncle into the modern word uncle

@bj Yeah, the bottom is the bit that looks more like what you did, and more like how a font would work on a tile-based system.

Cursive just doesn't work right with fixed-width fonts.

...Surely there have been Arabic video games, or Arabic translations of Japanese or English ones, though. Were there any Arabic fonts for tile-based consoles? What did those look like, I wonder?

@solarmerps LeCroy used to be known for their abysmal UI and UX on their oscilloscopes so a few years back they completely overhauled the UI and made a big marketing campaign pushing their new "Most Advanced UI" (also pushing how it was desigend around touchscreen use, which at the time was a big thing for oscilloscopes but now everyone's doing it)

it's certainly easier to use than the old one but i think agilent/keysight still has them beat on usability

like you'd think a gigantic rock snake would have a reasonable base attack, like at least 80-ish

but no, its base attack is 45, tied with zubat

its base hp is even worse, too!! the only thing it has going for it is really high def and decent speed
