@oceanotter you can reclaim a dead fort, yeah. when you do, everything the fort had (that wasn't plundered by raiders) will be scattered around, some random constructions and furniture may be destroyed, and there might be one or two survivors still eking out a living there

the thing that killed it might still be hanging around too though
