@NovaSquirrel mario 3 had a more distinct art style than SMW, honestly

@solarmerps it certainly didn't live up to the name, that's for sure

-F
@heatherhorns_lite i think the specific one that's going around now was someone got blocked by the instance that their partner was on, with zero warning
-F
@packbat if you want to calculate pie by hand:
- no that's called baking not calculating
- what are you doing
- okay it's delicious but i don't see where the calculations came into it
-F
@mossmeow @FunnelVortex a raspberry pi actually does consume a decent amount of power, more than you could get with small solar panels. but you *could* design a more efficient computer similar to a pi
-F
@heatherhorns_lite 3. an actual word with its actual definition that would be in the actual dictionary, for some reason

re: RetroSpring ("a thing you can't stand in game design?")
@artemis (our understanding is that telling a story in two parts is traditional in japan, like how putting it in three parts (a trilogy) is in the west)
-F
re: RetroSpring ("a thing you can't stand in game design?")
@artemis How do you feel about when a game does this, but the sequel is already planned and on its way out the door when the first game releases? That is, there *is* a guarantee of a sequel.
This is how Falcom likes to do things, a lot of their games are in two parts
-F
@rey (that is, the one that's correct is)
-F
@rey it's complement

@Moot what do you mean by this?

re: question about appliances, boost if you can
@amberxorluci the laws of thermodynamics mean that there's no way to cool a room without some connection to the outside, so if you can't make a hole in the wall you'll need to use a window
-F
re: question about appliances, boost if you can
@amberxorluci you probably would want what's called a window unit, they just mount in an open window. tend to be fairly cheap too. not sure how available they are in europe but i have no reason to assume they wouldn't be easy to get
they're the ones that look like this that you've probably seen
