worldbuilding thoughts
A planet with exceptionally deep valleys, that only has any significant atmosphere at the bottom of those valleys. Going between valleys would require pressurized suits like spacesuits, at least prior to digging tunnels.
bulk discounts are weird. we just increased our BOM quantity of one part by four and the total price dropped by almost 30%.
tolerances better than 0.1% on anything other than like resistors and stuff is just hard to think about
