Okay hello fediverse, it is now time to tell you all about the best page on all of Wikipedia. The list of lists of lists.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_

This amazing wonderful entry is a list of all pages that are lists of list articles on the English wikipedia. Uh, amazing???? Except some of the things it links to are lists of lists of lists, so one could label this is a list of lists of lists of lists.

good thing: Bravely Default and Bravely Second both let you adjust the difficulty at any time with no effects on rewards. I wish more games did that.

They also both let you alter the encounter rate, up to double normal or down to no encounters at all, at any time and with no cost

Cute little snake

Because, I think this when I see snake familiar.

mh, sorta -ish

can we stop reading far too far into random little things like people's use of punctuation or lack thereof, or someone not responding (because they went to get dinner, not because I offended them, *whacks brain with a stick*)

multiple stuff

feeling kinda blendy today I think

At least, Rose is quite close to front, maybe I'll let her front for a while

But I'm playing a video game I want to keep playing... which isn't really a good reason to hold front from someone who wants it. I'll let Rose front, seems zhe wants to work on some stuff for research

also zhe seems to want to try zhe/her instead of zhe/zhir pronouns apparently

Just came across the quote "What you believed in yesterday has not lost meaning because of what you learned today." in a video game and that's... It just feels like it should be shared.

Also learned today: One of the most effective ways of creating high magnetic flux densities is to literally compress the magnetic flux with explosives: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Explosiv

This is also an effective way of generating extremely high electrical current.

Of course it's only very short pulses and you can only use the device once, but few things approach it in effectiveness.

Today on Felthry Learned A Neat Thing:

The Czochralski process was invented by accident, when Jan Czochralski accidentally dipped his pen in a pot of molten tin instead of an inkwell. Because who doesn't keep a pot of molten tin on their writing desk, right?

something is wrong when my first reaction to seeing the number 741 is "no don't use the 741 that's such an old and bad amplifier"... even when the context was a quantity of $741 and not at all related to op amps in the least

nonspecific horny

I don't know why but for some reason I'm just really In A Mood today for I don't know what

today we learned: Russian typewriters in general didn't have a 3 key, with the intent being to use the Cyrillic letter З instead, since the glyphs are for all intents and purposes identical

today we learned: the famous Guile's theme, from street fighter 2, was composed by Yoko Shimomura, of Kingdom Hearts fame

just saw someone say that koji kondo is video game mozart and nobuo uematsu is video game beethoven and I just wanted to let people know we saw that
