The way additional parts appear on the second loop is particularly interesting to me. I especially enjoy how hits from the brass section are used almost as percussion during this part. The contrast between the very low string section and the very high piccolo melody provides an interesting sound as well.
This is one of those pieces that reaches the limits of my knowledge of music theory and ability to explain it, I think. Just go listen to it!

The Zelda series consistently has fantastic music. This one, played while fighting the boss Molgera, is among my favorites; driving percussion keeps momentum, but the melody doesn't let that give it an excuse to slack off--it keeps moving forward on its own for one of the most active melodies in the game.
(we are learning about how the arabic language influenced spanish and that of course gets into the reconquista and how the spaniards wanted the muslims out at all costs for some reason)
