Well, we just learned something unpleasant. Apparently, with the current state of the ACA, we would be able to get basic health insurance for free, but we can't because we didn't make enough money in this year. If we had made more than $15k this year, we would get free health insurance. But since we didn't, it'd be $500 a month.

Wasn't the point of this to make health care more affordable to low-income people? Why would it cost *more* if we can't afford it?

and of course, since Ys I&II is probably the most well known game on the entire system, it commands over $100 itself

apparently $150~$200 for the NA-region console itself, which isn't bad

the turbo-cd seems to be harder to find though, and i believe that's required to play ys i&ii on original hardware

one of these days we should play the TurboGrafx-16 version of Ys I&II

it's apparently considered the definitive version of the game(s) by some, since it actually combines them both into one game like they were originally envisioned

oh huh, apparently romancing saga 2 and 3 got switch remakes that released in the west

will need to get those later when we can afford it, for Collection Purposes
