the combat system does Not!! need you to be good at fighting games to play it though; on the lower difficulty settings (normal and below) the game doesn't expect that much technical skill, just enough to make it interesting

I should mention maybe what these games are like... Imagine a JRPG with a story ranging from really good to outstanding, where all the battles play like a fighting game
and when i say really good to outstanding i mean these games have strong character development, tackle heavy topics with appropriate seriousness, and have a real meaningful message behind the story

tales of zestiria is also on sale but that game is not worth the price
has some good music at least

re: tales of zestiria minor spoilers
there are several other things i could mention here where this game just has a bad political stance in general but that one was really egregious
-F
tales of zestiria minor spoilers
the incident that really drove in how bad this game's message is was having a whole Thing in a sidequest where you learned about the city guard (basically police) being corrupt and taking bribes (not to mention "police brutality" that was specifically mentioned in those exact words earlier in the game)... and then immediately thereafter you catch this gang of pickpocket/burglar children who explicitly state that they steal because they don't have any other way to survive... and you're immediately presented with an option, do you turn them in to the city guard or not
both options result in turning them in to the city guard, who we *just* established were corrupt, and the characters all seem to agree that this is a good thing

that is, people putting the word "carbide" on stuff that's just plain steel to make it seem more attractive (because people assume that it would mean either tungsten carbide or boron carbide)
-F
this is not true of alloy steels (meaning steels that contain significant amounts of stuff other than carbon and iron) by the way. stainless steels in particular can have less than 50% iron in them with the sheer amount of chromium and nickel and stuff that's added
but carbon steels are purer iron than cast iron or wrought iron

I don't know when it happened exactly but it was not very long after the requirement that people use TSA locks on luggage and ever since, the locks are practically as useful as a zip tie--holds your luggage closed while it's getting bumped around on the conveyor belts, but literally anyone can get into it with basically no effort
