there's also the same for concept art too, with early and scrapped character designs, but that's a lot more common to see, you don't see early and scrapped musical themes very often

most of them have little notes from the sound designers/composers about why they weren't used, too. it's pretty neat!

oh that's neat, great ace attorney (at least the switch one) has a sound test mode, but they intentionally put in a bunch of sounds that were made and not used, including both voiced lines that were not voiced in the actual game, a bunch of iterations on the UI sound effects, *and* early concepts for musical themes that were rejected for one reason or another
