today we learned: the reason that went is the past tense of go is because it's not the past tense of go, it's the past tense of wend, an archaic word synonymous with go, a word which apparently just didn't have a past tense? so even though wend fell out of use (except for the rare poetic use), went is still perfectly current

I've been refining the overall Bitkin setting some lately, and this is a new character design to replace Onyx. Onyx's design didn't really convey who and what she was, but this fiery manic butterfly (yet unnamed) definitely looks like someone who'd be in charge of a random number generator. A color-shifting source of chaos who sees her role in the System as important enough to do well, and to her that means building complex things out of simple parts: cellular automata.
