but said name is also just an ordinary word so it's not reason to block the person it was boosted from
someone just boosted a thing that contains the name of the friend group I'm unlikely to ever see again and it's. kind of. gh.
@Silverwing Hello, Raia-on-a-new-account. I think this instance name suits you.
hi @Ampersand, you seem to be a new person and I thought I would greet you, welcome to the mastodon place
I got a fortune cookie today that said something along the lines of "a new acquaintance will soon become a close friend".
the irony in that is. sad.
Wrf... Just said goodbye to a group of very close friends. It's unlikely I'll see them again, though I made sure they know that I'll always be glad to see them if they feel up to it again.
I'm tied up with some unpleasant memories for them, and they haven't been able to erase that association, so they thought it best for their mental health to distance themselves from me.
It's sad, but I understand their decision and, well. I hope I'll see them again in the future. I'll miss them.

Well, I notice a conspicuously-absent "neither" option. I don't even want to answer the question because it's so vague. I don't think I would support 'across-the-board tax relief' in general because I don't know what 'across-the-board' means. https://awoo.space/media/qKQRacJMWYA9MbBQZuo
