Thinking about trans individuals of species with very noticeable dimorphism;

a trans doe who is very proud of her antlers and decorates them every day
a trans kangaroo guy who uses his pouch as a pocket
a trans peahen who shows off her tailfeathers
a trans bull who is perfectly happy with his lack of horns, because he tried prosthetics and they just kept getting in the way

I'm seeing a lot of people posting screenshots of the more disturbing pokemon from that trailer completely untagged and uh

So I just realized... wait, if you're coding to run well on a multitasking system with 4 MiB of total RAM without any support for swap... that's gotta do wonders for performance on modern stuff, given how expensive a cache miss is nowadays.

Many modern desktop CPUs have 4 MiB or more of L3 cache, and coding that tight means you *never miss*. Even some mobile CPUs have that much.

are you a robot or otherwise synthetic intelligence? do you love your friends? do you want a single emoji to express both of those things simultaneously?

Internal combustion engines are weird. Thousands of explosions per second, just to make your car go forward.

also please don't boost untagged stuff that should be tagged

tbt when Nvidia researchers trained a neural network to generate images of cats and from the internet-sourced input data it learned that Impact 24pt White is a defining characteristic of cats

for some reason we've gotten to watching zelda speedruns lately and I'm really curious: how does a *ess work anyway?

thought: image of a person eating a salad, captioned "man eating plant"

I'm not sure how well known this is, but there are two game boy color games with music composed by Jeremy Soule (the composer for the Elder Scrolls series). They were both arranged for the platform by other musicians, but the original soundtrack (seen in the console and PC versions of the game) translates very well to chiptune. The games in question are the Harry Potter games from EA:

The second has the better music in my opinion.

probably sooner rather than later, I expect it will be one of those games that goes up in price rather than down... really shouldn't get it now though

If you think about it, induction machines are really just spinny transformers.

so, with @ashiinu@snouts.online and @Caste@snouts.online merged, does that make tesshii a transfusion?

(the pun just came to mind and I had to make it sorry)

hrt

my medication literature says estradiol is "also used to treat women with low estrogen levels", which is (I think) a really good way of referring to trans women medically?
