I was mostly just thinking about things that are not transistors in packages that you would expect to see transistors in. you get voltage regulators in pretty much every "transistory" package I suppose, from TO-3 to SOT-23, but digital circuitry in that style of package would be interesting
they'd have to be programmed with 1-wire or something similar
I wonder if they make tiny microcontrollers in SOT-23-3 packages, that don't have anything but power, ground, and a single gpio

Fun fact: each book scanned for the Internet Archive has a unique identifier, usually the title of the item, or its first 16 characters; the volume number, or 00 if there isn't one; and the first 4 characters of the author. So:
today we learned: nachos are apparently named after a person, Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya
