hot take

*steals all the hots*

ace attorney spirit of justice really goes all in with the pun names

in the first few minutes, you encounter "Tem'puhl temple", "Ahlbi Ur'gaid" (I'll be your guide), a tour guide, "Paht Rohl" (patrol), a guard, and "Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin" (peace love and understanding), the head monk of Tem'puhl temple

which do you use?

apparently there's a game called animal crossing new horizons coming out

all i can think of is the new horizons space probe though

ace attorney minor spoilers, out of context

"Knowing the defense, I thought surely you would try to cross-examine the orca... I must say I'm a little disappointed."

i guess this is a subtoot, but it's positive

Seeing people talk about how they used to be right-wing but escaped it gives us hope for the future. 💚

we should establish a possum posse in charge of possing possible things

Things which are feasible never seem to get feased, and things which are possible never seem to get possed...

the Hearth :ms_agender_flag: boosted

today we learned: apparently, disneyworld is classified as a common carrier (a class of communications, freight, and transportation services) due to their roller coasters being used to transport people, even if they're being transported back to the place they left

grrf... i don't want to have responsibilities again

ace attorney

I appreciate that prosecutor Payne's only character trait is "self-aggrandizing jerk"

he's a nice, simple, easy to understand opponent for the tutorial case

apollo justice vague spoilers

That reveal at the end of episode 4.......

woah.

i knew she looked familiar

i've noticed that the judge in the ace attorney series makes reference to having a "grandchild" multiple times, but never a "grandson" or "granddaughter"

the logical conclusion is that the judge's grandkid is nonbinary, and the judge is supportive of their identity

apollo justice ace attorney (no spoilers)

just got to episode 4 and what the actual fuck

this is going to be a good one isn't it

mention of fictional murders

why does it seem like every case in the ace attorney series is a murder case? how frequently do murders happen in wherever-phoenix-lives that one specific defense attorney gets something like twelve murder cases in under two years

why can't there be a theft or destruction-of-property case or something

i wonder if you call those "hints and tips" phone numbers that games in the 00s had printed on the instructions, do any of them still work
