so what happens if you visit the horned statue before getting any heart containers or stamina vessels? the first time you visit it, it takes a heart container from you, but iwrc it can't leave you with less than three hearts or one full stamina wheel--so what does it do?

it even has separate numbers for "main story" which is just the main quests and nothing else, "main+extras" where you add in some but not all sidequests and stuff (this is probably how most people would play most games), and "completionist" which is just how long it takes people to 100% the game in a non-speedrun no-practice setting

okay but with modifications this might actually be an interesting race option? give you the option to pick up an item when you find it, instead of just giving it to you ("you found the X, should you take it?") and then winner is based on low% rules; whoever used fewer items wins, go by time if several people had the same number of items
