something i appreciate about the word laser is that they actually backformed the word lase from it even though the -er ending is coincidental

kinda messed up that you only get one sentence-terminal punctuation per sentence

what if you want to say "What was that again, I missed it"? the ? clearly only applies to the first part, the "i missed it" is just a . kind of clause
