all i can think of is making a 3d model of the cartridge in freecad from measurements but we're not good enough with cad to do that

now i'm thinking about replacing the batteries in our gameboy games with battery holders so we can swap them easily in the future and I don't have any idea where to find out how much room there is inside the cartridge--directly measuring doesn't seem possible since you have to take the cover off and the cover is what limits your vertical height

okay it actually was 16 bit, I mixed up the 68000 (which is "16/32 bit", basically 16 bit) and 6800 (8 bit)

you know, we know a fair bit about the famicom/NES's architecture, but it'd be interesting to learn about the genesis/megadrive and how it worked
it's clearly got some fancy stuff going on there, what with being an 8-bit console (no you can't just add two 8-bit processors and call it 16-bit, sega, stop it) but having such color in its graphics, among other things

Maĵah can't resist a challenge, especially when it's something that sounds silly at first but offers a good chance for her to demonstrate her skills. Crystal wanted to see what it would be like if her head were detachable, and this is the result. The apparent hole there is actually a two-sided portal; Delyrian magic has some pretty well-used spells for making warp passages like that, and the odd texture you see in what would be the neck hole is actually the fingers of her right hand. Applying those spells to a living breathing being takes some care, though, which is where Maĵah's expertise comes in.
SFW: Caphs and details!
A wonderful piece by Jay, who helped us polish up a neat look at the Caphrinica! Trying to capture the basics of Caph as critters and their 'essence' as individuals; I think it came out lovely! (🎨 https://twitter.com/JayRock5858 )
