I’ve said this before, but my view of performative “inclusion” of the plaster-everything-with-trans-flags variety is that while it doesn’t fix institutional transphobia, it does at least annoy bigots and makes them feel isolated and outnumbered
this was after we'd already put the computer away and gotten in bed to go to sleep, then we just had an Idea that had to be posted

- the same person attacking us again for the same thing (the same event even, not another case of it)
- someone else attacking us for saying that we were unaware of a problem, claiming that we were making excuses for not doing anything about the problem
- that same someone else attacking us and other people left and right for being "america-centric", despite literally nothing anyone had said having anything to do with the US or any other country
and then that's on top of the increasingly bad burnout and we're just tired
