why do people seem to avoid using nF? a 10 nF capacitor always seems to be labelled as 0.01 μF or as 10000 pF, 1 nF is almost always 1000 pF, and 100 nF is almost always 0.1 μF

oh this is neat, we came across an HSPICE manual that goes over all the more common MOSFET models implemented in HSPICE (and thus LTspice, which is based on HSPICE)

oh yeah update on this we figured out why it broke, it was a cold solder joint that meant a 50 mΩ current sense resistor was actually measuring about 350 kΩ

why do oscilloscopes never have very good math functions

you can add or subtract or multiply waveforms but if you want to do A+B+C well too bad you need to do math1=A+B and then math2=math1+C

want to do A+B+C+D? too bad you can't, that would need three math channels and you only get two

final fantasy 7 was already about as subtle as a brick to the face, but it seems like in final fantasy 7 remake they've painted the word "ENVIRONMENTALISM" on the brick, and then thrown in a second brick that says "DIRECT ACTION" on one side and "CORPORATE PROPAGANDA" on the other as a bonus
