I'm sorry for just venting and complaining but I want to know--is it just me? or do other people think this way too?
It just feels like every time I make a point the other person says something completely irrelevant. I say something to the effect that I'd like to have more control over when and how the UI changes when there's an update, and they demand to know why. Then they talk about how I should be happy that they're making it NEW and BETTER and moving FORWARD with the design when it seems a lot more like new and worse to me
seriously all i'm saying is at least add an option to go back to using the old UI and they want to know why I want that. They can't seem to comprehend that anyone would want to do that.
they can't seem to understand that I really dislike the new UI with far too much whitespace making me have to scroll where I didn't before to see all the channels.
A thought: The saying "Even a broken clock is right twice a day" only applies if the clock is stopped. If the clock is running fast or slow it'll be right much less often, and if it's just plain set wrong it'll never be right.
And taking the analogy to people as it usually is, a stopped clock would be an uninformed person talking as though they know what they're talking about, a fast or slow clock would be a misinformed person, and a mis-set clock would be someone acting with malice.

okay after a run to the store to get carpet cleaner that is mostly taken care of now. Just need to wait for the washer to finish the mattress pad. x.x
this is because most people don't realize that there is a fruit called tuna. Most people just know of the fish.
