@feathers@yiff.life @HTHR@cybre.space obvs also that ralsei is an anagram of asriel; maybe more insidiously would be how pacifism n Ralsei's methods are almost always both the right answer and maybe even the easier one? Like aside from the King of Spades at the end, sparing enemies seems even easier than in Undertale, at least to me. What I've heard for sure is that its not even possible to kill enemies and earn EXP in this, they just run away when weakened...

Plus i think Toriel's opening monologue in the car ride to school is about her wondering if his life at university will make him outgrow his hometown; even with him gone, its about him
