Critterposting, WormWednesday
It's WORM WEDNESDAY and I'm gonna do a little posty about polychaete worms. Polychaetes are annelid worms, mostly marine, and mainy are covered in hairs.
The ones posted below are the classic aquarium bristle worms. They hitchhike in live rock (rock harvested from the ocean used in reef tanks to propagate bacteria), and emerge at night to snack on detritus in the tank.
Those bristles aren't just for show and are quite sharp, they can cause pretty bad irritation.
re: i guess this is discourse now
i shouldn't presume what other ppl mean by it, but the only way social engagements go over nicely online without disclosing or communicating pronouns first is if literally everyone is using the same ones?? so like, no, the internet shouldn't be a boy's club
i guess this is discourse now
do ppl wANT the awkward experience of assuming someone's gender and needing to be corrected afterward
like disregarding the "did you just assume my gender" thing, if a person doesn't put pronouns in their bio, and a person interacts with them and assumes they're x gender, and that goes wrong; why would u want that over ppl communicating clearly in the first place
might as well. I'm gap, They/Them. I'm a bio student fascinated with all living things and i wanna tell you about them. I post a shitload of animals, and a lot of longwinded information about them.
If you wanna boop me a follow request do so, and like, maybe say some stuff about u to me.
@FragileVal would u like a swedish meatball sir
