What is RMS and why isn't the discourse about it about the root mean square of a sonic waveform's energy.

@Felthry As in sound, though it would be pretty funny if we found the sonic note

@Felthry Actually now that I think of it, it would probably have a waveform that resembles a ramp at first than decays into a triangle wave after a few cycles, and then before ending in a triangle pulse, and all that is one oscillation.

@Felthry You know, I should have thought of that considering that I work with devices that translate voltage-controlled oscillation into air pressure oscillation.
