Just get out there and write node.php so we can get this race to the bottom over more quickly - we want the most unreliable, least debuggable and least powerful possible toolset on which to build the future

@Fuego Right!? It's not like locally hosted ads can be effectively targeted to the audience of the site or anything. Nope!
Also like, I just want it to fail nicely and give me a chance to enable scripts, I've encountered sites that either present a blank screen, or redirect to a noscript page that doesn't actually have the scripts presented and ~fuck that~

I've been a professional PHP dev for 11 years now and I've learned a few things about programming from this perspective:
• PHP is the worst language for generating dynamic web content server-side still in heavy use (for so many reasons)
• JS is in almost all cases a worse language than PHP, but its sins are offset by its usefulness in running client-side, thus getting processing load off your server
• node.js must have been a practical joke that got out of control
