remember: just because the need to directly work with assembly language is shrinking for the average software engineer absolutely does not mean that need will ever be zero for the whole of engineering

@typhlosion the more it shrinks the more you're worth - nasa just had to call back in a retired dude to make an update to the code on a satellite because they couldn't find anyone else to hire.
