Whats a good instance to send friends to that we whitelist with that is open now?

Shit son, this emulated cpu computes stuff!

@krinndnz yeah, I expect clojure is the best answer to the question - I just super object to the implementation and I'm not feeling write my own interpreter today

Added the nrom mapper and a little disassembler to my reference NES this evening :)

Gonna put together a quickie debugger I think and see if it'll step through smb1, albeit with no graphics ;)

@krinndnz I looked at clojure and then I was like... "fuckin really? they translate this to java byte code? no."

I have a strict no java interpreters on my systems rule :/

@bea @catalina @sed well... emacs is still being developed?

I feel like if you can do something in straight up lisp you can do it in any functional language... also I am old and I feel like how can you make a functional programming language that is different than lisp?

@bea @catalina @sed no I mean I cant see what catalina said -

If the answer was "There's newer stuff" then you're right, I don't care haha

@alyx@witches.town @grime_witch why does it look so much worse than MM8 on ps1/saturn??

Whats the new hot functional programming language and why would I use it instead of clisp?

@noiob @jk @lycaon@dev.glitch.social guess that makes sense if software (doom fex) can opt out of it

@jk @lycaon@dev.glitch.social uhhg I super hate that smoothing filter but you can turn it off with the new hd64 mod - also doom doesnt use it, so thats nice

@jk eff ths ps1's 3d, but the 32 bit 2d pixel art is so so so pretty... both ps1 and saturn. So n64 is last on my list in that gen.

Astal is the most beautiful game of all time and I am dead on this hill already.
