So I have been keeping quiet about this but when I started running this instance I made the decision that if someone makes a really terrible joke I would NOT give in to the temptation to joke that they were banned for perpetrating a really, really awful pun, because that really just felt like something I don't want to give anyone here even the faintest moment of worrying that I actually want to discourage them, it's just not funny when it actually comes from the person who runs the instance
and
I have never been more tempted to break this personal rule than I was today.
Truthfully, I feel honored that I managed to bring you so close to the brink in just four lines of shitpost poetry! I thank you for your restraint, applaud you for the policy, and yet I cannot wholeheartedly apologize and will probably do it again.
