@salameleon@snouts.online If it’s any consolation, it took forever for folks on the Speedgaming restream to find the fire rod except for one, who spent forever skipping the old man check. And even the commentary folks stated how easy it was to be baited by TR given hammer in HS cave.

So, yeah.

Can anyone in the Seattle area recommend trans-friendly press contacts to talk to? I may have a lead on discrimination by government employees for them to look into.

Not immediate or urgent, but I want to be able to pass these contacts along if they’re needed.

It was at this point that, as all dreams do, things went sideways based on snatches of half-remembered popular media. I think a crew was sent to clear the snow and disavow the existence of snow drakes (etc). It morphed into a B movie plot by the time I woke up.

So the first part is definitely better.

Dreamed that a rather large ice wyrm had settled in in our forest. It took out a few trees and delighted itself in chasing the local squirrels and mice without harming them, indiscriminately leaving a patchwork of snow and splintered trees in its wake.

We couldn’t figure out what to do about this turn of events. We’d just about run out of ideas when its Mother returned, scooping it up like a mewling cub.

We parlayed with her to bring snow just a little earlier this year. She obliged.

My only complaint about this little ham radio experiment is it looks like what the movies think an explosive device might look like. (It’s just a radio.)

The drama is legendary. But it was a hell of a lot easier to swallow without regular injections of bot-campaign-pushed, bad faith nihilism that I do not miss from corporate media. And I’m grateful to instance admins for not letting that fly here.
