While this is already fairly elaborate, you can bet I will try to design a space dragon in this game.

I wanted to learn how ship design worked in Starbase, so I decided to build an Arwing. The WIP looks pretty neat so far:

@Felthry Sourcing that directly from the text of the second Bulbapedia article I linked above and what I vaguely remember from Pokemon stat calculation formulas when reading Smogon, but the page sources a few other links in the notes.

@Felthry Assuming the moves have the same priority (https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Priority ), the calculation typically happens at the start of the turn, before moves can apply any modifiers.

Some caveats apply described in https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Stat#Speed . Mega Evolution preempts the start of turn calculation, and presumably so do stat and move changes derived from Dynamax/Gigantamax as well.

@qdot I just finished this game myself, and whew, the writing pulls no punches. Not saying more to not spoil it.

I streamed a tiny art game for @Veladynee over the weekend that contains, among other things, cute carpet dragons that you can pet and one giant snake friend.

Second-best: Hylia. While it's all off-camera and only given in Skyward Sword, pretty sure she knows exactly what she's doing and manipulates the setting in many arcs convincingly, especially in OoT hero survives timeline. That we think she's "good" is part of that arc (Two Rulers also heavily explores this theme).

PS: weighted companion cube Prompto is literally the best thing, and I did not know how badly I needed it in my life.

Finally sitting down to replay the game. I'd had a large stack of mods I downloaded over the years, and I forgot I left them enabled during the opening cutscenes.

Apparently Lunafreya is being supported by Power Rangers Red and Blue. Prompto is now a highly animate weighted companion cube. And all of the cars are full of sapient cactuars.

Everyone continued to act as if the situation was deadly serious.

... I couldn't stop laughing for a good 5 minutes.

@keliff Similar thing happened to me during my senior project in college. 100% of grade for the course. My two other group members were ready to graduate, so they just ignored the project entirely and forced me to solo it.

Prof was cool and let me set the grade for the other students. I gave them a C- apiece so they'd still graduate, but with a fucked GPA for resumes.

It's pretty wild, but if your teacher is cool, maybe they'll let you give similar feedback?

A friend wanted help farming Safi'jiiva from World while we wait for Rise to release more quests. This was one of my ending snapshots.

Been helping immediate family get their vaccine appointments, and just got my first (Pfizer) jab today, so I can vouch for the process.

While the floodgates open on April 15th here in WA, for folks that are having trouble getting vax that are eligible already, here are two resources that worked for us:

1. Kaiser Permanente Vaccination Hotline: 1-877-832-9915. Phone lines open at 7AM for vax bookings, though their information line is open all day.

We were able to book after a 25 minute wait and _ignoring_ the phone tree crashing once and telling us to call back later.

2. https://vaccinefinder.org/, which is a directory service for local vaccinations. My roommate's mother and father-in-law were able to schedule using it after most other resources dried up, 404ed, or crashed on them.

Other options should be opening up soon, but posting these just in case folks find them useful.
