@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun they're also releasing a bunch of sequels to 3DS series soon like Pokémon and Animal Crossing
@noiob and the Switch Lite is even going to have a really sweet looking Pokemon special edition coming out a few months after release
@noiob yeah I guess the lack of cloud saving is a pretty big potential problem with owning two switches
@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun they have cloud save (except for games like Splatoon because they don't feel like preventing save scumming), the problem is that it probably won't work properly, and manually syncing deletes the save from the other console. Plus if you set up two consoles to play all your digital games one of the consoles needs to be online while playing all the time
@noiob so basically nintendo really hasn't worked out all of the shit that needs to be in place for this to be practical for people that already own switches
@noiob it's still a pretty cool affordable option for people who don't already own a Switch though
@noiob also gotta be honest about another thing, the Nintendo Switch is already the perfect size for my hands and I know the Lite would be just a bit too small for extended play
@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun yeah I really appreciate not having to use the Joycons when I'm docked, the sticks are pretty small and imprecise and the controls are a bit too cramped
@InTheLandOfTheRisingSun I already have a Switch and since Nintendo are really not trying to make having and using two at the same time easy that wouldn't happen even if I had the spare chance
