Oops I almost forgot probably the single most important thing this build needs: a UPS! No not the brown truck, though I'll probably be seeing a few of those; a short term battery backup in the event of a power failure! I hope to have a longer term solution later, but I have plans that involve a pure sine inverter and 12 volts worth of golf cart batteries (and a battery charger.) I'll still need the UPS for an uninterrupted exchange of power

You know it's old because it's got a floppy drive, a parallel port, a VGA port, a couple ps/2 ports, AND a serial port. The parallel port and floppy drive alone should date it :P

Oh wow I discovered an OLD laptop I must have had during my college years? An HP Pavilion that came with Windows ME! No idea where the power cable went, but that can't be too difficult to get a replacement for

@masklayer I use yiff.life for my generic AD, so that is an option! The other instance I'm on is currently not accepting new user applications unfortunately, so I can't really recommend that one for now... although awoo.space might also be an option as well? I use it for my main, but they do allow mature stuff as well!

Whew, that was close! Was almost NOT nude to welcome in the new year! Literally as the last sock was coming off it rolled over to midnight where I am (I would have been ready but had to be out and about until shortly before midnight.) Time for me to enjoy some well earned sleep!

@extinct@redroo.ml I kind of feel like I know what instance is being talked about, and if that is the case yeah I am still quite sour about the bullshit that went down. (and if not, then I still can't fault you for having complaints about it!)

Have you ever wondered what causes sleep to happen? Like what steps does your body have to take to actually enter sleep state? It's not like you can consciously will your body to sleep, like flipping a switch on a computer. It's clearly something that happens on a subconscious level, but what does it entail?

@tsunderdog Oh god yeah, I can't tell you how much of what we could consider classic furry artwork (of a pornographic nature) ends up getting lost to time because either the artist wipes (most) everything, or the originals get lost and the site(s) they were uploaded to just...implode and lose everything.

@tsunderdog I know some of the older Flash animations have been converted into something else; I think Homestar Runner cartoons have been uploaded to Youtube as well, though how many I'm not sure of. I definitely hope HR can be preserved for future generations to enjoy though, those were a treasure

The classic furry twist on Happy New Year: Happy Nude Deer has me thinking... how awesome would it be for just one year to be a nude year? No clothes at all for a whole year? ...sad part is I'd have to wait 3 more years to take full advantage of that. Leap year means one more day of being naked to enjoy :D
