@KawaSeadrake @mawr I don't, sorry. It's from at least five years ago (I remember where I was when I read it, and it was my precious employer) and there's no practical way to dig through Twitter that far back across a year-wide time range.
@mawr @KawaSeadrake I remember it coming from someone else, but it's could have been following up on the SpottyJaguar version, which I remember seeing on FA now that it's mentioned. I hate making specific accusations about things that happened years ago, though, I don't trust my memory enough and I don't think there's much benefit in disparaging people for something they said years ago anyway. Then again, it hasn't stopped affecting me and I'm still avoiding them, so I dunno
@KawaSeadrake @mawr Having found the thread, I have decided I should just get over it. :| It shows me who I can reasonably expect to get in an argument with as a result, I guess, and... I care about that but it's not anybody who would want me to spend time hating myself for my own gender identity, either
@Kistaro @KawaSeadrake Be who you are, even if it sometimes makes others uncomfortable. That's what being queer is all about. ♥️
@Kistaro @KawaSeadrake The essay was written by SpottyJaguar IIRC and could probably be found in their journal on Weasyl.
The viewpoints SpottyJaguar firmly stands for read as extremist and exclusionary in my book. That essay stirred up a lot of shit *on the left* without even acknowledging the response from the right.
It was considered a controversial position by multiple people who sit farther left than I do, if that says anything.
