When I was growing up, someone in my family was always sick or in some kind of crisis. I guess I got used to that and I feel like I'm irresponsible if I'm not in the middle of some kind of disaster, or if I'm thinking about or doing anything else while something is ongoing

I also mistook at least two Federal prisons for high schools. They had outdoor exercise equipment, high fences with razor wire, and a general “government institution” sort of brutalist architecture, how could I tell the difference?

And thus marks the first time I've had to use cell phone disassembly prying tools to break into a laptop so I could add a hard drive to a secondary drive bay the laptop was designed with. They didn't include the cable connecting the drive to the motherboard, so I had to email customer service for a disk tray and cable, then install it myself.

Got it done though!

@Jacel @anthracite This sounds like what bothered me about The Magic Circle. Even the parts that weren’t “the game is unfinished lol” were terribly performed. The game was playable but I couldn’t stand the voice acting

It's frustrating how stress and exhaustion just eats an entire day sometimes. I wish it would do that less often.

Why are cell phone manufacturers so enthusiastic about “Woo every single part of this thing is a screen! Oh my god look at it! A screeeeeeeen, we made a fucking screeeeeen!!!!” like some sort of strange tropical bird mating call?

I mean, why are they right? I kinda wish my entire phone was a screen, too, I just think next year’s version will be the one that works.

I have my slow cooker full of turkey, onions, and garlic soup base. We’ll see how this works out - I usually use powdered onion soup for seasoning instead; this is a variation on that plan.
