There should be an app out there that refuses to let you view any sort of news, social media site, or financial services website without first answering these 3 questions:
1) Have you showered?
2) Have you eaten?
3) Have you gotten at least 6 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours?
Seriously would install this app in a hot second.
Patreon, Writing

Out of therapy, headed home. I have chores and such to do right now, and it will help me to get them done. I'm still pretty low spoons, but therapy and a conversation with @ElectricKeet about yesterday both helped.
Yay! It's a @gnarl!
Woo / Vision
On Sunday I had the opportunity to watch a ritual offering made by @literorrery while cuddling with @adeptomega. While I was watching it, holding her as she rested against my back I had a most vivid vision of Ko as a full-tree, Adept under her branches staring up at the stars on another world.
It's a reminder, I think, that my purpose in life is to provide shade and space, safety and refuge from the concerns of this world.
Getting Organized
One of my recent tactics for getting organized is basically to take 10 minutes before the shop opens on Monday. I take a sheet of paper, make a 2x2 grid on it. I label 1 axis of the grid for Priority (Low/High) and one for Urgency (again, Low/High). I then place out the things I need to get done in any day on that grid. The result helps me prioritize what I should be doing (the High Urgency / High Priority items).
What do you do to stay organized?
Productive Day has been Productive. I did a thing that I've been conflicted about (buying a time clock rather than relying on employee hand-punching), but ultimately is a good idea if/when we get any larger.
The conflicted part is worrying the action will be interpreted as a step towards micromanagement, which I abhor.
Anxiety and Depression Stuff
It never ceases to amaze me how fucking hard dealing with the day to day things gets when one is depressed or anxious. I literally had 5 things to do today. I barely got one done, am not sure how to coordinate the second, and kicked the other three to tomorrow because I just can't right now.
Money / Nice thing...
Was walking past Mishu (on my way past the bank to fight a pokemon raid...don't judge me!) and saw a really cute couple of skirts for $35 that are very likely in my size.
And I found myself justifying not buying them by saying "you're on a severely restricted budget this month. Be good. Get them next month." I'm proud of that...but also frustrated.
I felt like today was a really good mix of productive and relaxing today. I taught @emanate how to play Sushi Go. We got all our magic prerelease stuff done and ready for Friday. And generally I feel better set up for the week.
Hmm...any advice for wearing thigh-high socks?
I love having them on, but dislike the constantly having to keep pulling them back up all the way.
Also - feeling a lot better thanks to efforts by my husband, Mistress @literorrery and fellow pet @adeptomega. <3 Turns out what I needed was time with all of them and time to myself to relax and enjoy and just...be me.
Mood State
Day was mostly busy enough that my mood this morning didn't transfer over into customer interactions (thankfully). I feel a little bit like I'm a burden right now, needing so much emotional support.
I'm trying to stay mindful of the good that happened today, it's just hard and I'm tired. I'll be glad when work is done tomorrow.
CW Stalker Behavior
I mean, I think the above description doesn't do it justice. He was trying his damnedest to make himself seem like a "good guy." And to suddenly be confronted with the realization that he was the stalker made me feel intensely uncomfortable. It took a lot of willpower to be in any way diplomatic when I gave him the personal effects we had been asked to by his ex. And that he decided to come by when the store was empty was doubly creepy.
