I love having a welfare state and all, but could it actually act like it's trying to help people instead of seeming like it's being forced against its will and wasting everyone's time and money to try and avoid helping people? The kafkaesque bullshit I've had to go through in order to do what should be simple things is ridiculous.

@TipsyTentacle@witches.town I've been trying to develop a near-future sci-fi setting recently and a couple of the ideas I'd come up with were "Capitalism gives way to self-managed worker co-operatives" and "Automation creates a post-scarcity society where most are employed in scientific and creative endeavours". The idea of a space exploration worker collective encapsulates those ideas perfectly, so thanks for helping crystallise that concept for me. :P

@grainloom I do like that they're trying to represent psychosis realistically, without stigmatising it. A little disappointed that they don't seem to be consulting people with psychosis though.

I believe the game's released now - any idea if its representation of psychosis holds up?
