@Leucrotta dumplings are one of those things I wish I could still have. like, theoretically I could still have them, if somebody made them gluten-free or if I was willing to accept the repercussions of getting a gluteny one or if I was willing to figure out how to make them myself, but, well. XD them and piroshkis... gawd I miss piroshkis.
The good news: "gluten free pierogi recipe" brings up a ton of hits on Google.
The bad news: pierogies are a royal pain in the ass to make.
The worse news: I'd be SO DELIGHTED to make a batch for you, but as you've probably seen, we have the shittiest kitchen.
The heartbreaking news: I know exactly where *would've* been the perfect kitchen to make them, and the nostalgia and regret is murderous. C'est la vie. *notional malört shot*
@zebratron2084 @Leucrotta *raises a shot glass* I hear and understand, tiger friend.
@troodon @zebratron2084 anyway, I didn't have dumplings as I'd committed to rice cake soup - can you do rice cakes?
@Leucrotta @zebratron2084 I wasn't sure if you were asking if Kin could make them or if I could eat them--if it doesn't have gluten in it, I'm good to try! (never had them before so it'd be an adventure!)
@troodon @zebratron2084 okay apparently Korean style rice cakes *are* gluten free https://veganmiam.com/recipes/vegan-glutenfree-korean-stir-fried-rice-cakes
@Leucrotta @troodon Ooh, that's a good question, I'm curious too!
