CW: ME(~), Drug use.
What is it about pot that clears out self interference and lets me really think and communicate clearly with myself?
I've felt like I've had a bunch of really important breakthroughs since I took a week-long break.
And then cold and work and stress from cold and work just... erases or rollsback all that progress and I'm just pushed back into this cold wet muddy rut i keep trying to Sisyphus my way out of.

You've spent years, decades, going with the old assumptions and thinking. And while not very healthy, they worked to survival. By comparison, you just realized more healthy things which will help you *thrive* at some point. You're literally not used to thinking that way, not yet; give it some time, it'll stick.
And yeah, the cold has been messing with me some, I'd imagine that simple physical thing really grinds on any and all of us with any issues.
