re: lewd dommy
@daylight @kelseyhusky hey, she's right. You're awesome.
re: lewd dommy
@kelseyhusky @daylight easiest recent example which comes to mind; when I really lost my temper at my bookshelves falling apart, you were patient with me *and* successfully figured out how the support tabs would be inserted correctly. I don't think my initial assumption was all that illogical (that the broadest surface would be the support surface).
So you were able to tackle an unexpected emotional challenge *and* successfully thought through a spacial/technical issue which wasn't obvious, without much time to leap from one to the other. Even if I weren't grateful enough to be very biased, that's incredibly impressive imho.
re: lewd dommy
@kelseyhusky @daylight ... effectively you just downplayed that achievement by saying "I am really good at my job." You're *not* getting out of this without some sort of compliment.
re: lewd dommy
@Leucrotta @daylight Heck.
re: lewd dommy
@kelseyhusky @Leucrotta idk if this cw is still appropriate but im choosing to giggle
re: lewd dommy
@Leucrotta @daylight You're right, it wasn't a bad assumption. But it honestly wasn't that big a deal. Dealing with unexpected and emotional challenges is around 95-99% of being in IT anyway.
