longish response
@zetasyanthis Thank you! It's really hard to get a good fix on time for these sketches specifically. The aquatic stuff and qilin were two of four pages of stuff which got roughed out and tightened up a little bit over 2 1/4 hours yesterday; drawing the werewolves, and tightening up all of these sketches to this point was something like 1 1/2-2 hours today.
It *usually* takes me somewhere between 30-90 minutes to rough out and tighten up a page with multiple characters and stuff. I'm still very much learning so I'll have this thing where I'll blow through stuff I know how to do in 30-45 minutes... and then I'll tweak technique and thinking things through will take me longer, especially when it's new.
re: longish response
@zetasyanthis It's definitely one of those 80/20 breakdowns where I can block out what I want a lot faster than I can refine it.
re: longish response
@Leucrotta That's pretty darn fast, considering the quality of the work you turn out. And yeah, I can see how the cleanup always takes a bit. (I've taken a couple sketching classes, but am nowhere near your level. :P)
