Is there any polite way to tell a mayoral candidate going door-to-door campaining that he just lost your vote because of his complete inability to answer the question “what do you actually plan to *do* if you get elected” in a concrete manner?

@kistaro @Leucrotta That's pretty standard nebulous answering. I'd follow up with him on some real on-the-issues questions, brutal ones, and see how they respond.
@Leucrotta @Veladynee I did ask and rejected his first non-answer, but “get the community involved more” was his Thing and he gave no plans on how to do it. He cares about traffic, the environment, and getting better deals from vendors, and... so? doesn’t everyone who wants this job say that?
