In my dreams I was in Britain (people were louder and more exuberant than I’d expected), and then I asked my ex boyfriend if I could crash at his place while things were bad in the USA, as I’d always wanted to visit Berlin.

I really do wonder if I’ll ever travel outside this country before I die.

@Leucrotta If it's any consolation, all I've seen is Canada... and no offense to our dear friends from the north, but that doesn't count. :)

I think if I have the chance someday, I'd like to see my homeland in Italy. Apparently, the Italian parts of my family all come from about five hours' drive of each other, basically in a straight line going West from Rome. I've seen pictures. Real pretty mountain area.

And I keep threatening to drag Peg to Vienna purely for the cake. O:|

@zebratron2084 My only remaining European family is in Paris and possibly still in Nancy- but everyone goes to Paris, and Alsace and Marseille sound pretty interesting. (Nancy has a glass museum!) My parents’ vacations make me curious about Scandinavia; and I’d like to visit Japan, see Kyoto and Mt. Hiei specifically like a batch of other places from my history books, and eat way too much fried food.

And I mean there’s plenty of places in the USA. But I think I will never get to travel much.
