@Oneironott Embracing all the weird quirks and mannerisms that come with it; the taste for rare to raw meat (y'know, where I can get away with it without risking foodborne illness too much), riding the wave of the lunar cycle, producing some wonderfully canine sounds basically by reflex, nocturnality, accepting and embracing my own distance from humanity, that sort of thing. 💙
Other than that.. loyalty to those close to me, utter fierceness when necessary - all of it, in other words.
@Thaminga @Oneironott you know. Raw meat wise, have you ever tried Ethiopian food? There are a good number of very different tasting varieties of steak tartare and if you can find it, doulet, which mixes in liver and tripe as well. But uh... you have to be okay with spice, and with butter which Ethiopian cooking uses to carry spices. Traditional tea also really helps digest it all.
@Oneironott @Thaminga good but very filling, since traditionally you use bread to pick up food. I still haven’t tried Aradia’s favorite place but there’s a vendor at the Cap Hill farmers’ market who has some of the more uh... American-friendly stuff, and it’s good.
