The SAD is definitely kicking my ass this winter, I’m not sure how much is the incredibly rough year with no hangout space outside home (hang out in a coffee shop to read/draw/surf the web has been my coping mechanism for literally decades).

@Leucrotta we didn't realize just how rough Seattle is as a SAD trigger until we got the fuck out of there -- another of those winters would probably have been the end of peggy tbh. hang in there hun and TAKE YOUR VITAMIN D <3

@zebratron2084 Last year was a bumpy ride of adjusting to the nicer half of winter, holding up relatively okay and then getting slammed around Solstice despite using the full spectrum light and taking vitamin D. But this year everything's been different - the year started getting outdoors regularly, but it's been more indoors and oops; it's around Solstice. I've been trying to up my dose of vitamin D, but might need to use the full spectrum light a lot more frequently somehow.

@zebratron2084 This whole year has been a mess of "hey it's nothing you did wrong, it's not your innate flaws, it's just this impersonal shit that slams everyone" and "suddenly my energy level and mood is through the floor purely because of light and vitamin D deficiency" is no exception.
