#drawing with Ticonderoga carmine red. Feels good but not great; the softness is nice and it leaves little residue on the page like graphite pencils but the lead is somehow very brittle and prone to break, and I’d forgotten that.
Tonight’s #drawings, partly inspired by one of Fenris Games' upcoming minis, and of course how the reason you practice drawing cars is so you can draw fictional versions bristling with weapons.
Tonight’s #drawing grew partly from the werewolf’s facial expression. When I played a Black Fury the all women part the splatbooks really emphasized was less interesting to me than the Greek part, so I made up some lore about them, including tongue out (like a gorgon’s head) being a formal challenge.
Tonight’s #drawings, working larger. This turns out to be a hugely kinetic learning thing more than learning new anatomy etc.
Today’s #drawings, working on fabric and armor, trying to add stuff learned from Iain McCaig and Wayne Reynolds, with some influence from big clunky armors sculpted by Westfalia.
Lots of random gunk, but some drawings and cooking talk too. Obsesses about DnD and related topics. Left-leaning/profoundly frustrated politics. Black lives matter; trans rights are human rights.
