today aren’t finished much, a couple of adventurers face some sort of undead, an evil lord swears fealty to a lich, terror birds, undead infantry.

So I’ve been thinking as a Spooky Halloween thing sometime over the next few days of re-reading this antique I have in my TTRPG collection and maybe blathering on about it.

A “Doctor Phil” parody inspired by 1970s Vincent Price horror movies.

today, inspired by the Hyperborean Age! In which every fantasy city had at least one tower with a gorilla in it.

today trying to do a nominally civilian ship crew as an excuse to draw different builds. I liked the idea of the engineers being the stereotypical huge dude and a scrawny aging hippy; of *course* the "Old Man" wears a civilian sweater; and I was listening to patriotic music, which explains the WWII touches.

One today, flying wizards vs. beholder in some sort of dungeon elevator shaft or something like that. (Space beholders might come later.) Still trying to figure out whether I want to rotate it to portrait format…

Today's were working up analog ;

arcanaloth wizard, some sort of gremlin, dragonborn bard

and bad guys, a human paladin from the path of conquest, halfling priest of Loviatar, portrait of dragonborn sorcerer

this morning. Reptilian player characters (kobold, dragonborn) ready an ambush for a reptilian monster. Finished up this idea of halfling bandits holding up a human, and filled the rest of the page with studies of drow hairstyles.

Two dragon ! Monday's little spikey half-dragon half-theropod. And today, a ranger rains arrows on her draconic foe while the melee warriors have exactly no success.

Today's were about big fights, because in DnD people become monks to learn fancy moves so they can start trashing some bozos. A fight between two monks, and a fight between a Githzerai monk and multiple Githyanki opponents.

from this weekend. A pit fight in an inn between a gnoll and an agile mace wielder; gruagach chariot, warrior and cu sith; three adventurers break into a temple to Baphomet.

from last Wednesday, tightened/inked this weekend. Werewolf versus fomor, and a Black Spiral Dancer in all five forms.

from today. Gruagach/wild elf warrior and cu sith running alongside a noble in her chariot - I like the sort of stylized looking profile stuff here, I ran with it more cropped/zoomed in than I initially wanted and I like that too. And, a party of three adventurers sneak into a temple of Baphomet!

One more for today - an inn somewhere less civilized where the patrons can watch pit fighters! In this case an agile mace-wielding fighter leaps to the wall to avoid her gnoll opponent!

Finished Werewolf Wednesday today. A werewolf in Crinos form takes on an office worker only to find they’re actually a fomor; and a Black Spiral Dancer in all five of her forms (at the time I penciled this that’s what was winning in Twitter plus Mastodon polls).

from yesterday (when I didn’t feel it was appropriate to post); goblin champion attacks an umber hulk, and two dwarves face a lumbering cyclops!

Trying out freeze dried pumpkin soup powder with fried polenta.

Today's were more practice on vehicles, trying to work at a smaller size; and more playing with composition, a duergar and his succubus ally take on a surface adventurer.
