Have some scribbles from a happier time! The nearest coffee shop to FC 2015 was Cafe Frescati, sadly now closed. Either me or someone else misremembered it as “Cafe Frazetta” and inspired these.

Found old art! In 2014 I discovered that painting of Takhisis with captive Raistlin was actually Clyde Caldwell’s, rather than Larry Elmore’s. I figured an Evil Queen of Dragonkind needed big Elmore hair and a really impractical outfit.

#drawings today, a frost dragon pursues a flying wizard away from its den in an old temple in the mountains! Two adventurers are surprised by a resurrected or possibly undead wizard emerging from lava (I was thinking of the part in Hellboy when Rasputin emerges from a pool of blood)! Also I was listening to the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade soundtrack while drawing.
